A cherished grandmother, before retiring, Joann worked in the accounts receivable department at Yale University.
Joann Prodoti Onofrio 70, of East Haven passed away on February 2, 2024 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Loving mother of Pamela (Eric) Katynski of East Haven. Cherished grandmother of Isabella, Jax and Shawn Katynski and Joann’s extended family Angela Onofrio and Erica (Jose) Jimenez. Sister of the late George Prodoti. Joann was born in New Haven on December 9, 1953 daughter of the late George and Kathleen Dorin Prodoti.
Prior to her retirement Joann worked in the accounts receivable department for Yale University.

Family and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial MONDAY morning at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will be private. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. Arrangements are in care of the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven.
