Obituary: Louis A. Speringo, Sr., 76, of East Haven
A former employee of AEP Manufacturing and CASCO Products, he leaves behind children, grandchildren and Hunter, his dog and best friend.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Louis A. Speringo, Sr., 76, beloved husband of 55 years to Mary Donnelly Speringo of East Haven passed away August 1, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Loving father of Louis A. (Tonia) Speringo, Jr. of Northford, Joseph (Rebecca) Speringo of Milford and Alyssa (Scott) Kulis of Bridgeport. Cherished grandfather of Tianna, Sophia, Isabella and Emily and his best friend and companion his dog Hunter. Louis was born in New Haven on November 16, 1944 son of the late Louis and Philomena Randi Speringo. Prior to his retirement he worked for AEP Manufacturing and also worked for CASCO Products for many years.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Thursday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Burial will be private. Friends may call THURSDAY MORNING from 8:30-10:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assn. at www.lung.org.
