Rep. Zullo, Sen. Fasano To Have Coffee Hour in East Haven

EAST HAVEN, CT - State Representative Joe Zullo and Senator Len Fasano announced today that he will be hosting a Legislative Coffee Hour on Friday, May 3rd at Country Kitchen from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Rep. Zullo said that, with the legislative session slated to come to a close on Wednesday, June 5th, he is looking to hear from constituents before voting on pending legislation before the General Assembly.

“It is important to me that I meet and talk with residents before voting on legislation,” said Rep. Zullo. “We have so many controversial bills that could get called for a vote in the House this session. Although I hear daily from constituents on issues of importance to them, I am hoping to gain further insight on where the residents of East Haven stand on issues like tolls, the half-percent payroll tax being proposed to fund paid family leave, and the governor’s plan to expand the sales tax."

Zullo added, "I understand people's work schedules and personal commitments differ. This coffee hour is going to be part of a series of events, including late and weekend office hours in East Haven over the next year, which I intend to hold to ensure that my constituents have the chance to speak with me one-on-one about the issues most important to them."
