This was likely not a small matter for a very grateful resident. Here's his letter:

Chief Marcarelli.
I woke this morning to find my basement flooded and the utilities down there beginning to shut off, including the furnace. All the plumbers said I’d have to deal with the water before any repairs could happen and suggested that I call my local fire department.
Which I did. Your guys came out here immediately and figured out a quick fix just as fast. And put me on my way to getting the appliances back up and running.
Cannot thank you enough. Incredibly brilliant and professional work. Thrilled to be in your district."
