She Runs The Food Pantry: Patch Heroes

EAST HAVEN, CT —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Yes

What does the nominee do for work?:
She is a volunteer President of the East Haven Food Pantry.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She has ensured that during this Covid-19 pandemic the Food Pantry would remain open to serve the people in need of food. She has been there each day it has been open, secured additional volunteers, and implemented a system whereas both the patrons and the volunteers are protected.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Dianne is totally committed to making life better for those in need.
