To Catch a Thief: East Haven Police Seeks Public's Help

The department is urging all residents to lock their vehicle doors and keep all valuables out of their vehicles, especially with the holiday season approaching.

The following is a press release from the East Haven Police Department.

The East Haven Police Department is currently investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred on the evening of 10/15/2013 in the area of 214 Main Street. 

During this incident a wallet, credit cards, and a GPS unit were stolen from within a vehicle.

Following this incident, the stolen credit cards were then used at an area business to make several purchases. 

Officers were able to obtain a photo of the suspect from the business’ surveillance video where the stolen credit cards were used.
