Too Soon? Or Not Soon Enough? Beach Parking Permits Available Now
It's very much winter outside now, but before you know it! Permits are only available to East Haven residents and are free.

EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven police announced that 2025 Beach Parking Permits are now available. All residents must reapply for a beach parking permit, including residents who have previously had an electronic permit for “permit parking only” areas.
The beach permit season runs from May 15 to Oct. 15. Officials noted in a Facebook post that folks should "apply as soon as possible to ensure your permit is approved before the beach season begins."
Permits are only available to East Haven residents and are free. Residents on 'permit parking only' streets can use their previously issued visitor hang passes. For those who need a new visitor hang pass, police said, "We will remove and cancel your old passes from the system before issuing new ones." Contact the mayor's office at 203-468-3204 for a replacement visitor hang pass.
