Tuttle School Students Will March to Town Hall in Honor of 9/11

"Our theme for the day is to honor the memory of the heroes of 9/11, and to celebrate the spirit that makes America a great country."

Students of Tuttle School are scheduled to march to the East Haven Town Hall at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, according to a press release

“Our theme for the day is to honor the memory of the heroes of 9/11 and to celebrate the spirit that makes America a great country,” the release says.

At the Town Hall, students will perform the pledge of allegiance, the release says.

Following an introduction, students will read reflections and other readings, and will finally perform “America the Beautiful,” the release says.

Students have also been asked to bring non-perishable items, such as diapers, canned foods and more, to be donated to the East Haven Food pantry, the release says.
