Fernando Bracamonte Sr., 95, affectionately known as Mr. B, beloved husband of 67 years of Aida Bracamonte, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2025 surrounded by his devoted family in Somers. Born in Trujillo, Peru, he immigrated to Queens, New York in 1961, where he built a life rooted in hard work, love and unwavering dedication to his family. Years later, he proudly became a U.S. citizen, embracing the opportunities and values of his adopted country while never forgetting his Peruvian heritage.
Roy Schneider, 92, of Ellington, passed on to his eternal reward peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. He committed his life to the Lord 63 years ago and was a devoted member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Ellington. His life was grounded on The Rock of his Lord Jesus, and all who knew him will miss his steady presence.Roy was married to his beloved wife, Joyce, for 58 years, and his devotion to her was unwavering. He worked as an electrical engineer at Hamilton Standard for 37 years.

Burton G. Wheeler Sr., 83, a lifelong resident of Ellington, beloved husband of 62 years to Margo (Randall) Wheeler, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on March 22, 2025. Following high school, in August 1960, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he proudly served his country for four years before his honorable discharge in 1964. Upon returning home, he spent nearly 30 years with Gerber Scientific before his retirement.
