Tolland County 4-H Fair Kicks Off Friday
The 4-H fairgrounds are located on Route 30, close to the Tolland/Vernon line.

Come celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of 4-H members at the 70th annual Tolland County 4-H fair, which runs from August 10 - 13 at the fairgrounds, located on Route 30 near the Tolland and Vernon town line.
The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Friday, August 10
- 10 a.m. Poultry Breed/Showmanship, Llama Breed/Showmanship, Working Steer Fitting and Showing, Small Gas Engine
- 11 a.m. Dairy Breed/Showmanship
- 12 p.m. Homemaker of the Year
- 12:30 p.m. Smart Shopper
- 1 p.m. Sheep Breed/Showmanship
- 2 p.m. Lawn Tractor Obstacle Course
- 4 p.m. Swine Breed/Showmanship
- 5 p.m. Rabbit Breed
- 6:30 p.m. Borrowing Class, Frog Jumping Contest
- 8 p.m. Swine Obstacle Course

Admission costs $8 per car and $5 for walk-ins. A weekend pass to the fair is $15.
