15th Annual Puppy Pride Event To Aid Enfield Dog Park Set For June 3
The annual canine celebration features many contests, vendors, food, music and fun for the whole family, especially your precious pooches.

ENFIELD, CT — Dogs and their families have a chance to enjoy a day full of treats and fun on June 3, as the 15th annual Puppy Pride Fun Day takes place behind the Moose Lodge on South Road.
Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Puppy Pride is a free, family-friendly event for young and old alike. It features a variety of canine contests, including Best Kisser, Best Lap Dog over 40 lbs., Cutest Puppy, Best Looking Dog, Musical Sit and Stay, Bobbing for Hot Dogs and Best in Show. Contests, which all have minimal entry fees, begin at 11 a.m.
This year’s event will feature over 30 vendors and rescue organizations in addition to raffles and contests. A meet and greet event where candidates for dog park mayor may introduce themselves will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dogs will be dressed and have giveaways and a donation/vote jar at their table. There will be donation jars at Puppy Pride to collect votes for each dog.

Mayoral winners receive a reserved parking spot at the park for their term, which runs from Sept. 1, 2023 to Aug. 31, 2024. Winners will also have their photos used on the dog park's website and other social media outlets, and will be asked to make guest appearances supporting the Enfield Dog Park during their term of office.
