19-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed in Enfield
The teen was reportedly outside of a home on Prospect Street when he was shot.
A 19-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday night on Prospect Street in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, Eyewitness News reports.
The teen, Jonathan Torres, was reportedly outside of a home when he was shot, and responding police found him lying in the road around 9 p.m., NBC Connecticut reports. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass., and pronounced dead shortly after.
“It’s crazy because the kid’s quiet. He goes to school. He’s not violent, doesn’t get in trouble,” said Dana Graham of Enfield, according to Eyewitness News. “(It’s) just weird for out here. He’s a good kid.”
