Why are you seeking this office?

I am currently serving on the council. I want to continue my public service and continue to serve the residents of Enfield.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: Education and our schools.

I intend to continue to support our schools and students by fully funding the Board of Education and fighting to restore programs that were lost, staff that were cut, and classes that were lost due to the budget cuts.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

My counterparts on the Republican side claim to care about our schools and seniors, but they continually show otherwise by cutting education funding and programs to help our senior citizens.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I want to come up with both a short-term and long-term plan for our infrastructure, address some of the blight issues, and find innovative ways to bring small and big businesses here to Enfield.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?

I am currently serving my sixth term on the council.

I have proven over my years of service that I ask hard questions, advocate for the residents, and fight for responsible spending by the town.

My career as an attorney has also helped me in this role on the council.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you? Think globally, act locally.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I have shown that I am a fierce advocate for our schools, teachers, and education. And I will continue to do just that.
