Aftermath Of Tropical Storm Henri: Northern Connecticut [PHOTOS]
The bulk of the storm missed the northern Connecticut area, but towns did sustain heavy rain with some flooding and trees down.

NORTHERN CT — Advance preparation for the expected onslaught of Hurricane Henri turned into some damage and flooding caused by heavy rain and high winds Sunday, after it had been downgraded to a tropical storm.
Patch editors in northern Connecticut visited about a dozen towns following the storm, and observed varying degrees of damage.
In Enfield, a storm drain collapsed on Abbe Road, resulting in the roadway washing out and contributing to a water main failure.

Rivers, streams and brooks in many locations were overflowing their banks, and some street closures occurred in nearly every town.
