ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent death notices from Enfield.
Aaron Beebe Sr., 69, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025. Aaron spent more than 15 years driving his Bradco truck, where he would eventually retire. After that, he spent many years volunteering at the Enfield Food Shelf. Aaron took pride in growing his own fruits and veggies every year from his own backyard, and loved wrestling nights, mostly spent with his grandson.
Laura (Saraiva) Ferreira, 89, beloved wife of 58 years of the late Fernand “Fred” Joaquin Ferreira, entered into eternal rest on April 11, 2025, at Masonicare at Mystic. She shared a beautiful life with Fred, the love of her life. Together they created a home centered on love, faith, and family. Laura and Fred raised their family in Enfield, and spent more than 20 years of their retirement enjoying winters in Naples, Florida, where they made lasting memories with so many wonderful friends.

Mary Ann Kopec, 85, of Stafford Springs, formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal peace on April 12, 2025, to be reunited at last with her beloved husband and the love of her life, Theodore Kopec. Mary Ann dedicated over 30 years of her life to a career at Reddington Counters, where she was a valued and respected employee. A woman of faith, she was a longtime communicant of St. Adalbert’s Church and a member of the church choir for more than a decade.
Thomas Reddin Jr., 88, beloved husband of the late Diane Reddin, passed away peacefully at home on April 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Following high school, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal before being honorably discharged. In 1958, Thomas and Diane settled in Enfield, and he opened his own business, West Hartford Professional Family Hair Care.

Janet (Trotter) Sutton, 72, beloved wife for over 41 years to the late Charles G. Sutton Jr., passed away on April 6, 2025. Janet graduated from Enfield High School. She was an avid crafter, always creating something with her hands. She enjoyed knitting particularly, but did it all and had an endless supply of yarn to back it up. She loved the ocean air and the sounds of waves crashing, and spent many summers camping on the beach at Charlestown Breachway, R.I. and at Bald Mountain Campground, Vermont.
