Beloved Enfield Mom 'Is The Highlight Of Every Get Together'

ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My Mother is the highlight of every get together. She brings life into the world with her positive and encouraging words. Her smile and energy fill a room. She is the most welcoming woman you could ever meet. Of all good and bad times, she finds the perfect words to say and we never have to worry about introducing a new family member to our close knit family … even our fur babies. My mother is the real deal! My Mother has never forgotten a birthday or special occasion and her cards are always filled with confetti. We may say "ugh" because we have to vacuum, but would not have it any other way!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My Mother is an angel sent from heaven. She also makes sure we are never without, even as adults. That includes her delicious food on every visit.
