Big Macs Equal Big Bucks For Enfield High School Athletics
Enfield's four McDonald's franchises are donating a portion of Thursday's App proceeds to the high school sports program.

ENFIELD, CT — Residents who have the McDonald's App might want to use it if they plan on visiting the golden arches on Thursday, Oct. 10.
On that day, 20 percent of App sales at the four franchise locations in Enfield will help the town's high school athletics department.
The special fundraiser is from 3 to 9 p.m. that day. Enfield locations are at 97 Elm Street, 28 Hazard Avenue, 585 Hazard Avenue and 34 Enfield Street.

According to McDonald's, more than 130 of its Connecticut restaurants are participating in the program, with many state high school and/or middle school sports departments benefitting.
"We are a local brand at heart, and our commitment goes beyond providing great food to the communities we serve. All McDonald’s in New England are locally owned and operated by families or business owners who take great pride in their communities," said Sara Amato, a New England McDonald’s owner/operator who also oversees the McDonald’s app engagement for the region.
