Joseph Blackwelder, 69, beloved husband of Barbara (Renals) Blackwelder, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, with his family by his side. He dedicated 41 years of service to Alstrom Non-Wovens (formerly Dexter Corporation) before retiring. A longtime parishioner of Holy Family Church, Joseph found joy in the simple pleasures of life — attending classic car shows, meticulously caring for his lawn, and offering his skills as a fixer of all things. Above all, he was a loyal caretaker, always ready to lend a hand to family, friends, and neighbors alike. Mary (Young) Burroughs, 80, wife of Donald Burroughs, passed away on July 11, 2025. Mary was a resident of West Springfield, Mass. for most of her life before moving to Enfield. During her career, she worked for many companies, including Sears (where she served as manager of the former West Springfield location), Steiger's, Don Levy, and Enfield Ford. She deeply loved her Shih Tzus: Maya, Molly, and Lucy.

Terri (Bidorini) Statkus, 59, of Enfield, beloved wife of Stephen Statkus, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025. Terri lost her 6 year battle against ILD - Interstitial Lung Disease. She worked for MetLife for 10 years until disability forced her to retire. Proud of her Italian and Philippino heritages, she enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Terri always enjoyed visiting her home and family in Randolph, Mass. She was a beloved member of the Bliss Street crew.

Lloyd Trowbridge Jr., 71, passed peacefully on the morning of July 12, 2025 in the comfort of his home. Lloyd was the beloved husband of 23 years to Donna L. (Gauthier) Trowbridge. He was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Lloyd was a certified meat cutter in the state of Connecticut; prior to retiring, he was employed with Riley’s of Connecticut, and Copaco for many years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, deer cutting, gardening and dominos. He enjoyed time spent with his loving grandchildren. Lloyd was known as a social butterfly and enjoyed a good conversation.

Sandra (Pronsky) Violette, 83, passed away peacefully at home on July 3, 2025, surrounded by her family. After graduating high school, Sandy met and married Gerald Violette. In 1970, they settled in Enfield, where they raised their two children. A devoted member of St. Patrick Church, Sandy, along with her family, volunteered to run the church basketball program - an experience that brought them great joy and forged lifelong friendships. Sandy worked for 35 years as secretary to the finance director for the town of Enfield, a role she took great pride in and excelled at.
