On Campus: Great Achievements By College Students From Enfield

ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Kaylene Ellis and Emma Whaley, both of Enfield, were named to the spring 2025 Dean's List, which includes students who have completed at least 12 credits as a full-time student in that semester and have achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Western Carolina University, Cullowhee NC

• Alaina Mason of Enfield was named to the Western Carolina University spring 2025 Chancellor's List. Mason was among more than 2,900 students to achieve this honor. To qualify for the Chancellor's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Students named to the Chancellor's List are also named to the Dean's List.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• WPI celebrated its 2025 commencement on Friday, May 16 with a series of ceremonies honoring the achievements of graduates across all degree levels. For the second year, commencement exercises were held at the DCU Center. Enfield residents receiving degrees were Benjamin Penti, mechanical engineering and robotics engineering; Michael Conroy, robotics engineering; and Pratham Patel, architectural engineering.
