On Campus: Great Achievements By College Students From Enfield

Grove City College, Grove City PA

• Liam Conklin, a freshman finance major at Grove City College from Enfield, has been named to the Dean's List with Distinction. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

Nichols College, Dudley MA

• Maximilian Springmann of Enfield graduated with a Master of Science in counterterrorism from Nichols College during the cCollege's May 3, 2025, commencement exercises at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass.

Salve Regina University, Newport RI

• Maggie McCue of Enfield was awarded a B.S. in early childhood education & special education degree during Salve Regina University's 75th commencement. Salve Regina President Dr. Kelli J. Armstrong conferred 508 bachelor's degrees, 206 master's degrees 18 doctoral degrees and 11 doctor of nursing practice degrees to members of the Class of 2025.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Wesley Smith, a member of the Class of 2028 from Enfield, has been named to the spring 2025 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• Abby Palmer, Mason Pilkington, Madelyn Sears, Athena Stamatopoulos and Samuel Wishart, all of Enfield, made the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Kaylee Garcia and Harley Griffin, both of Enfield, were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Reid Vacharakupt of Enfield, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in biomedical engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2025 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI students are named to the Dean's List based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects.
