ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is so caring and loving. She gives the best hugs and is always there when I need anything. She's the sweetest person ever and makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies! She's really creative and I love her drawings.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She's such a good mom. She's very understanding and kind. She's also really funny and I love how she can always light up a room when I'm with her.
