Caronna, Giordano, Pauze, Spence: Recent Death Notices From Enfield

Condolences are extended to the families and friends of those who have recently died.

ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent death notices from Enfield.

Laura (Isotti) Caronna, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 23, 2025. In September 1965 she married Philip P. Caronna, and the two of them started a family together in Enfield, where they raised their four children. She held a lifelong career with the telephone company in Springfield, and later enjoyed volunteering at the Felician Adult Day Care and the Enfield Soup Kitchen, and was an active member of the Mount Carmel Women’s Auxiliary in Enfield.

Joseph Giordano, 88, loving husband of Josephine (Rosato) Giordano since April 1959, entered into the embracing arms of his Lord on March 20. As a teenager, Joseph began his solo journey to America by embarking from the docks of Naples and landing at Ellis Island. Soon after moving to Enfield, he became a successful beautician. He managed and owned several area beauty parlors, with his prize salon being “Joseph’s You & Me” in East Longmeadow.

Leonard Pauzé Jr., 90, beloved husband of Joan (Tenerowicz) Pauzé, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. He had a distinguished career working at Kaman Aerospace before joining Hamilton Standard, where he retired in electrical engineering as a Manager Test Equipment Design. He was an avid ham radio operator for many years, was president of the Hamilton Sundstrand Retirees Club from 2001-2003, and enjoyed watching Red Sox and UConn sports.

Jennie (Grischuk) Spence, 86, beloved wife of 40-plus years to the late Joseph Spence, entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2025. She was the Enfield building inspector’s secretary for more than 35 years, and very quickly became well-respected and beloved. She loved animals and would often be found tanning on her back deck watching birds in her feeders with her dog, Daisy, running around.
