College Milestones Achieved By Students From Enfield

Assumption University, Worcester MA

• Assumption University has announced that Cassidy O'Hara of Enfield, Class of 2024, has been named to the University's Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters.

Austin Peay State University, Clarksville TN

• Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize Cole Westwood from Enfield as one of the students named to the Dean's List for academic achievement during spring 2024. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or greater.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Kaylene Ellis, a Lasell University student from Enfield, was named to the Dean's List for academic performance in the spring 2024 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Salve Regina University, Newport RI

• Austin Radkovich of Enfield was awarded a BS in business administration degree during Salve Regina University's 74th commencement. Salve Regina President Kelli Armstrong conferred 503 bachelor's degrees, 271 master's degrees and 22 doctoral degrees to members of the Class of 2024. In total, this year's graduating class was the University's largest ever at 823.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College has named seven students from Enfield to the dean's list for academic excellence for the 2024 spring semester. They are Gemma Batchelor, Savanna Chappell, Ashley Harding, Rachel Justice, Tyler Simmons, Chelsea Smith and Charmane Thompson.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

• Three students from Enfield were awarded bachelor's degrees at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's (WPI) 155th Commencement on May 10. Abigail Barksdale majored in actuarial mathematics, Cameron Carlin majored in chemical engineering, and Vivian Vacharakupt majored in civil engineering. Nearly 1,100 undergraduate degrees were awarded during the ceremony.
