ENFIELD, CT — A local man with a record of four convictions since 2017, including a felony charge, was arrested Tuesday morning after Enfield police executed a search and seizure warrant at his Enfield Street home.

Shavar Walker, 36, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, destruction of evidence and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Bond was set at $100,000.

Around 7 a.m., detectives and members of the Community Police Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search and seizure warrant at 107 Enfield Street. The warrant was issued as a result of a months-long investigation into narcotics sales at that multi-family home and throughout the town of Enfield, police said.
