Danielle Girard Board of Education Candidate

I’ve always believed local elections are about people, not party lines. Although I am a registered Republican, I believe strong leadership and community commitment matter more than party labels. In this year’s Board of Education race, I’ll be voting for Democratic nominee Danielle Girard because she is a candidate whose values truly align with what’s best for our students and community.

What stands out most about Danielle is her deep involvement in our community. She’s shown up time and again—volunteering at schools, supporting student programs, and listening to parents and teachers alike. Her leadership experience, both professionally and in local organizations, demonstrates a proven ability to bring people together and get results. She has been an integral part in putting together Enfield’s Rock the Vote event, a nonpartisan community event meant to bring community together and enhance voter registration.

Danielle has shown exceptional leadership, deep involvement in our community, and a sincere dedication to improving opportunities for every student. Her track record of listening, collaborating, and following through demonstrates the kind of steady, thoughtful leadership our schools need.

I’ve also been impressed by Danielle’s strong advocacy for all students. She has spoken multiple times and both board of ed and town council meetings to advocate for our community and school system. She firmly believes every child deserves to feel seen, included, and supported, no matter their background or ability. Her commitment to inclusion reflects the values many of us share as neighbors and parents—respect, fairness, and opportunity. Danielle truly understands that when our schools create welcoming environments, our entire community benefits.

Our Board of Education deserves members who put students first and focus on solutions, not party lines. Danielle has earned my respect for her integrity, transparency, and genuine commitment to improving education for all children in our district.

This election isn’t about red or blue—it’s about who will work hardest for our students and our community. That’s why I’ll be casting my vote for Danielle Girard.
