Endorsement of John Santanella for Re-Election to the Enfield Town Council By Pat Tallaritta, Former Mayor of Enfield and Thompsonville Fire Commissioner

I have spent most of my life in Enfield, serving as Mayor, as a member of the Thompsonville Fire Commission, and as a neighbor who cares deeply about our community. Over the years, I have learned that true public service is not about titles or politics. It is about showing up, listening, and doing what’s right for the people you serve.

That is why I am proud to endorse John Santanella for re-election to the Enfield Town Council.

For the past four years, John has been a strong, steady voice for Enfield. He approaches his work with honesty, fairness, and thoughtfulness, and he always puts the needs of our residents first. Over the past year, he has also served as our State Representative, giving Enfield a voice not only at the local level but also at the State Capitol. Balancing both roles is no small task, yet John has done so with energy, integrity, and commitment.

As someone who has sat in the council chambers and dealt with the challenges of governing, I know how difficult the job can be. Resources are limited, and the needs are many. In those moments, character matters. John has shown that he has the character to make hard choices with fairness and responsibility.
Enfield is fortunate to have leaders like John who are deeply rooted in our community and who understand that every decision affects families, neighborhoods, and future generations. He has demonstrated that commitment time and again, and I know he will continue to do so if re-elected.

I recognize that many people today feel frustrated with politics. I share those concerns. But I can tell you with confidence that John Santanella is different. He is in this for the right reasons. He cares about this town, he cares about the people who live here, and he works every day to make Enfield stronger.
