Enfield school bus driver Trisha Romei was recently recognized for going "above and beyond" her duties to make a student's first year riding the bus a comfortable one.
WFSB paid tribute to Romei in the news station's "Connecticut's Beloved Bus Drivers" series.
Enfield Deputy Superintendent Chris Drezek told WFSB: "We're very proud of the accomplishments that the folks here have done, in particular with Trisha."
Romei told the station she found the honor "very humbling."
