Residents Participate in Emergency Preparedness Drill Led by Fire Safety Official
Enfield, CT — The Enfield Housing Authority successfully conducted a comprehensive fire drill today for residents at the Mark Twain Congregate Living Center, reinforcing its commitment to safety and emergency preparedness. The event was highlighted by a special visit from the Deputy Fire Marshal, Ed Shirley, who provided expert insights and guidance on fire safety protocols.
Residents participated in a live evacuation exercise and an interactive session where the Deputy Fire Marshal discussed best practices for fire prevention, emergency response, and the importance of having a personal safety plan. The event aimed to educate and empower residents with the knowledge needed to respond effectively in case of a fire emergency.
