Enfield Mom Goes Without To Fulfill Daughter's Needs, Family Says

ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

My daughter is an amazing mom to my little granddaughter Violet. She works and takes care of her full time. She never gets anything for herself — she’s always making sure Violet has everything she needs and more. She goes without to make sure Violet can do dance and soccer. Her whole world is making sure Violet is taken care of. She’s an amazing daughter and mom and I’m so proud of her.

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

My daughter is a single mom and has been doing the job of mom and dad while working and making sure she still has time for Violet and everything she needs.
