Enfield Mom Is 'A Great Cook, Very Loving & Special'

ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is a great cook, she's great at her job (she works in insurance), she's always there for me and my sister and she holds the family together. She's very loving. She's also the most beautiful woman I know. She's been there for me through some of the darkest points in my life, and for this, I am forever grateful to call her my mother.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She's been through a lot these past few years and I feel she just needs more recognition for everything she does. I want her to know she's special to me, even though I don't say it much.
