Enfield Mom Honored On Last Mother's Day: 'She Shines Like The Sun'

ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

At almost 93 years old my mom has been a role model to not only myself but my siblings, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews. She is admired by many for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and the love she showers on so many. As we prepare to celebrate our last Mother's Day with her I am so thankful for the many we had and the memories I will hold in my heart forever.

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

She deserves the spotlight because she shines like the sun even in her darkest days.
