ENFIELD, CT — Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
She's the strongest woman I've ever met, and manages to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders while keeping a smile on her face. I admire her positivity and reassurance through this life. She makes an impact on everyone she meets, and genuinely cares.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She doesn't get enough of it. Things have been tough since my grandmother's passing, and she doesn't get the credit and recognition she deserves. She's a ROCKSTAR.
