ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
She has been taking care of me alone since I was a little baby. She has sacrificed a lot for me to have a roof over my head, clothes on my body and food in my belly. She is selfless and will help anyone out before her needs. She is a hard worker and always gives one hundred percent in everything she does. She is a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Happy Mother's Day!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
My mom deserves this spotlight because she is selfless and never gets any credit for the work and help she has done in her life.
