Enfield Native Son Sworn In As Newest Law Enforcer
The 2019 Enfield High School grad is now training at the New Britain Police Academy.

ENFIELD, CT — The Enfield Police Department last week welcomed a local native and 2019 Enfield High School graduate into its ranks.
The EPD officials swore in Officer Sean Messina into its ranks on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
According to the EPD, he attended Western New England University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in forensic science.

Prior to being hired by EPD, Messina was a crime analyst for the Springfield, Mass., Police Department in their "Real Time Analysis Center" and was subsequently promoted to a supervisory position in that unit.
Messina, Friday, Sept. 19, started at the New Britain Police Academy prior to officially working in Enfield.
