Kindergarten Basketball Program

An introductory basketball program for youth in Kindergarten will be held on Sunday afternoons at JFK Middle School beginning on Jan. 8, 2017. The program will consist of eight, forty-five minute sessions in which participants will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball while being exposed to the concept of organized youth sports. The program will be run by Recreation Department staff however, we are asking for parent volunteers to help. PLEASE NOTE: this is a drop off program. Parents will only be allowed into the gym for the last two classes. Registration will be limited to 40 participants (20 per session) and will be taken on a first come, first serve basis beginning on Friday, Oct. 28. This program is for Enfield residents only. Participants may register for one of two time slots. Fee is $35 per participant. Playgroup Halloween Celebration

Join the Enfield Recreation Department on Monday, October 31, 2016, 9:30 - 11 a.m. at the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center to celebrate Halloween during Playgroup. Activities will include a craft, games, music, free play and more! Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume to Playgroup. All participants will even go home with a special Halloween treat! Playgroup is an ongoing program for children ages birth - 5, registration is not necessary, however you must be an Enfield resident to participate. Elks Hoop Shoot Basketball Contest

In conjunction with the Elks Lodge #2222 the Enfield Recreation Department is hosting a Hoop Shoot Basketball Contest on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at JFK Middle School. Hoop Shoot is a free event for Enfield residents ages 8 – 13 years old as of April 1, 2017. Pre-registration is required by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Recreation Office. Enfield Eagles Basketball Clinic

The Enfield Eagles Boys and Girls High School Basketball Teams will be hosting a free basketball clinic for youth in grades 1-6. Two clinic nights will be held. Monday, November 14th for grades 1-3 and Tuesday, Nov. 15 for grades 4-6. Both clinics will be held 6-8 p.m. at Enfield High School. Pre-registration is required.
