Enfield Seeks Green Thumbs For Community Gardens
There are five locations in 2022 for Enfield's community gardens.

ENFIELD, CT — The Town of Enfield has announced both the launch of the 2022 Enfield Community Gardens as well as a new garden coordinator, Susan Pelton.
The locations for Community Gardens are:
- Thompsonville Community Garden (Main Street)
- Enfield Library Community Garden (104 Middle Road) and more beds are available
- Lafayette Park Community Garden (Hartford Avenue)
- Green Manor Park Community Garden (Taylor Road)
- Enfield Memorial Park Community Garden (1010 Enfield St., former Alcorn School).
The community gardens have raised garden beds that will be ready for rental at $25 each throughout the 2022 planting season.

This rental fee includes the use of tools, seeds, starter-plants, compost, water, educational sessions and videos, and a caring community.

These forms can be downloaded from the town website at http://www.enfield-ct.gov/291/Enfield-Community-Garden.
Complete the application and mail it, along with the $25 payment, to Development Services, 820 Enfield St., Enfield, Conn., 06082. Checks can be made payable to Town of Enfield.
"Our raised garden bed community is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, eat fresh vegetables and also to learn about horticulture," reads a statement from the town. "We look forward to another wonderful season of learning from nature and interacting with the community."
