Holiday Hours:
The Enfield Senior Center will close at 4:00pm on Friday, December 23 and be closed through Monday, December 26 for the holiday. The center will re-open on Tuesday, December 27 for normal business hours. Happy Holidays to everyone!

January Classes:
January classes begin on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Registration for January classes will begin on Monday, December 19 for residents and Thursday, December 22 for non-residents. For the full class schedule visit our website at www.enfield-ct.gov/seniors or pick up a copy of “The Center Connection” at the Senior Center.

Beyond the Scale:
Wednesdays, 11:00am-12:00pm.
A weekly support group for those that need a little extra help in their weight loss journey. Free.

Fun Bingo:
Wednesday, December 21, 11:00-11:45am.
Drop-in and play a few games for small cash prizes. Cost is fifty cents per card. Please bring exact
change.

TED Talks: Why Fun is the Secret to a Healthier Life
Thursday, December 22, 1:30-2:30pm.
Have you had your daily dose of fun? Its not just enjoyable, its also essential for your health and happiness, says science journalist Catherine Price. She proposes a new definition of fun – what she calls “true fun”. Join the discussion.

Medical Equipment Loan Program:
The Senior Center maintains a limited inventory of durable medical equipment to loan out free of charge. Items include toilet seats, commodes, bath transfer benches, walkers, canes, and other equipment. Please call 860-763-7425 for availability.

CHOICES Counseling:
Will St. George, CHOICES Counselor, will offer free 45-minute appointments on Friday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm and Monday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm at the Senior Center. To book an appointment, call 860-763-7425.

Trips:
The Senior Center is currently planning the 2023 trip schedule. If you have any suggestions, please stop by the front desk with your ideas. We are interested in where you would like to travel next year.

Weather Policy:
The Enfield Senior Center no longer follows the Enfield Public Schools inclement weather policy. Cancellations will be posted on our website, Facebook page, and on WFSB Channel 3. You may also call the Senior Center for cancellation information at 860-763-7425.
