WHAT: Students from the healthcare career training programs at Porter and Chester Institute’s Enfield campus will hold a bake sale in support of Operation Smile, an international children's medical charity that performs safe, effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery for children. Students, faculty and the general public are invited to support this important cause.

Children with cleft palates often have problems with feeding, speech, hearing and dental development, according to Operation Smile. For more information, visit www.operationsmile.org.

The goal of the fundraiser is $240, the average cost of on cleft palate surgery.
