Enfield to Mark 'Wastewater Appreciation Day' with Tour

You read right.

Wednesday, May 22, will be recognized as "Wastewater Appreciation Day" in the State of Connecticut by Governor Dannel P. Malloy.

Last month, the Enfield Town Council also recognized May 22 as "Wastewater Appreciation Day," and will mark the day with an open house of the Enfield Water Pollution Control Facility.

The facility, located at 90 Parsons Rd., will be open to the public Wednesday from 1:30-6:00 p.m., according to a post on the Town of Enfield's Web site

During that time, residents may tour the facility, meet the staff and ask questions.
