ENFIELD, CT — Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is our best friend. She's always there for us when we need her, no matter what. Not only is she our mom and best friend, she's been our dad as well for as long as I can remember. She's the strongest woman we know! From working third shift and still taking us out to the zoos, amusement parks, the beaches, and so much more!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
My mom doesn't give herself enough credit for all she's done. I want her to know how much we appreciate her, not just for herself, but for the whole world to know!
