Enfield Youth Services & Natchaug Hospital’s Joshua Center Host “The Time is Now”

From the Town of Enfield Youth Services:

ENFIELD, CT - Natchaug Hospital’s Joshua Center & Enfield Youth Services will host a free community forum about combating addiction and its stigma. Our panel of dynamic speakers will discuss; the opioid & heroin epidemic that is plaguing our country, the stigma surrounding opioid use and the barriers it creates for treatment, how Narcan can be used to help stop an overdose, and where to find resources in the community for addiction or mental health concerns.

The event will feature:

• Jeff Hatch, Former NFL Player
• Jennifer Kelly, Founder of Justice’s Fight and Fed Up
• Karen Colt, Program Director of Natchaug Hospital’s Rivereast Treatment Center
• Sarah Howroyd, CT HOPE Initiative Co-Founder

"The Time is Now" is hosted by Enfield Youth Services & Natchaug Hospital’s Joshua Center and will be presented Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6:00pm- 8:30pm at the Asnuntuck Community College Auditorium, 170 Elm St., Enfield.
