As Fall Sports Practices Begin, A Look At Enfield's Team Title History, 2025 Schedules

ENFIELD, CT — Monday marked the first day for official workouts for high school fall sports programs across Connecticut, with the exception of golf which began practices last week (full contact is permitted at football practices beginning this weekend). With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.

Enfield High School's five fall state championships date back to 1983. Here are the state titles won by Enfield teams in autumns past.

• field hockey (5) - M: 1994, 1993, 1992, 1984, 1983

No team from crosstown rival Enrico Fermi High School ever won a state championship during the fall season.
