ENFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, Lock Haven PA

  • Natalie Acevedo of Enfield was among the nearly 600 Commonwealth University students named to the 2023-24 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete award list. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 upon completion of the academic year to be eligible for the PSAC Scholar-Athlete Award.

  • Nichole Johnson of Enfield received a Master of Science degree in nursing from Elms College following the conclusion of the summer 2024 semester. Johnson was among 101 students who received their degrees this summer.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

  • Tiara Rankin, Christopher Latocki, Alyssa Dowding and Megan McKenna, all of Enfield,were named to the summer 2024 President's List. The summer terms run from May to August.
    Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
  • Raef Kubie, Michael Wayner and John McKenna-Carroll, all of Enfield, were named to the summer 2024 Dean's List. The summer terms run from May to August. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List.
