The tree mural is a large-scale collage made from hundreds of painted papers created by every student at Hazardville Memorial. Six Enfield High students who previously attended Hazardville Memorial were taken on a field trip back to their alma mater to work with the students. Together the high school and elementary students cut and collaged the painted papers into the image of a white oak tree, the CT State tree. The mural was funded by the grant writing efforts of the HMS Beautification Committee, a volunteer group of HMS staff and PTO members.
