ENFIELD, CT — Wednesday night's high winds damaged a commercial building in Enfield. Part of the roof and the facing on the Namco building inside a shopping plaza at 620 Enfield St. had been torn off. Resident Robert Kahn noticed it, snapped a photo and sent it to Patch. Vernon police said they were aware of the damage and contacted its owner. No injuries were reported. Rain and gusty winds pelted the area for a good portion of the overnight period.
