IHOP Plans To Open Restaurant In Stop & Shop Plaza In Enfield
A building permit application has been filed with the town to renovate the former location of Saki Sushi & Ramen House.

ENFIELD, CT — A vacancy in the Stop & Shop Plaza on Hazard Avenue is likely to be filled in the coming months by a national restaurant chain.
A building permit application has been filed with the town on behalf of IHOP, an acronym for International House of Pancakes. The company plans to renovate a 2,300 square-foot space at the western edge of the plaza, last occupied by Saki Sushi & Ramen House.
The restaurant, founded in California in 1958, currently operates in more than 1,800 locations worldwide, mostly under franchising agreements. There are 11 IHOP restaurants in Connecticut, with Manchester being closest to Enfield.
