'Incredible' Enfield Mom 'Is The Best Person I Know,' Daughter Says

ENFIELD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is a new grandmother recently and it's amazing to see her go above and beyond for her grandsons. I Facetime her every night at 7:00 and she always picks up with a smile, excited to talk to me. She has so much love and care for her family and friends, and she even moved just to be closer to her daughters and grandsons. She's just the best person I know. My mom was my role model before I even knew what that word was.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

I think she deserves it because she works full-time, is a full-time wife and dog mom, full-time mom still to her very grown up children, and full time Meme. And still every day she reminds us she loves us and goes above and beyond for us. She really is incredible and growing up we didn't have the nicest cars, clothes or houses, but one thing I had that many didn't was the best mom. Looking back, I feel like I was the richest kid of them all because of that.
