ENFIELD, CT — A collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Town Farm Road resulted in the death of the motorcycle operator Thursday night, according to police.The crash occurred around 9:07 p.m. near the entrance to Grassmere Country Club. The operator of the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by police as Jashua Martinez-Martinez, 32, of Enfield.The pickup truck operator, a 78-year-old man from Enfield, was not injured, police said.The crash remains under investigation by the Enfield Police Department Traffic Division, with assistance from the METRO Traffic Services Regional Traffic Team. Anyone with informationis asked to call Officer Kevin Ragion at 860-763-8920.
