Near-Simultaneous Crashes Briefly Close Pair Of Busy Enfield Roads
No serious injuries were reported in either crash, which took place shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — A pair of motor vehicle crashes which took place just minutes apart temporarily closed some busy roads in Enfield Friday night, according to police.
Shortly before 7 p.m., a crash at the intersection of Taylor and Moody roads briefly shut down the roadway. Police did not yet release details of that incident.
Minutes later, another crash occurred at Shaker and Bacon roads, resulting in a road closure which was still in effect at 7:45 p.m. In that case, one person was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, Lt. Joshua Marquis said. No other information was provided.
