ENFIELD, CT — A vape shop which opened in October in the former longtime home of a seafood market on Route 5 was the subject of an operation Friday involving local police and Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection agents, resulting in the arrest of a man on narcotics charges.

The Enfield community police unit, detectives and state agents conducted the operation to address numerous complaints the community police unit has received regarding drug sales at the Speedy Corner Convenience vape shop at 57 Enfield Street.

The shop recently opened in the building which housed Steve's Boston Seafood for many years.
